I adore Britney for what she has done musically for the Pop industry, and I would hate to compare Cyrus as this generation’s “Britney” but things seem to add up. Britney started her career on the Mickey Mouse Show, Miley started it on her show Hannah Montana. Britney was star coupled with fellow talented boy-band group member Justin Timberlake. Miley was star coupled with fellow talented boy-band group member Nick Jonas. Britney had her movie in Crossroads and Cyrus recently had The Last Song. And now THIS video? A little Britney-ish, don’t you think? According to Phoenix New Times:

• “It’s a knock-off of Britney Spears’ “If U Seek Amy,” which isn’t saying much for its artistic value or innovation. Her voice is also Auto-Tuned on the track, yet another way Cyrus is following in Spears’ footsteps.”

 Let’s see what little Miley has up her sleeve next.
