Day 2 - Dear Crush,
Hi baby. Yes, yes you are my crush. I’m always crushing on you when I see you, and sometimes I can’t believe I have you… all to myself. Sometimes I look at you and I think “I am so lucky.” And I mean it. I love that we write letters to each other. I get so excited like a little kid in a candy shop when I see a letter on my bed because I know it’s from you. I love the way you cover your letters and they make me feel all warm and fuzzy! I know we get into our fights but we always get past them. We’re always trying to better ourselves and I just love that about us. We see everything that gets in our way as an obstacle that we were meant to get over together. Some might say we are immature, but we already know that. We’re both in our early twenties so what do they expect? We’ve only been dating for a short time and we still have a lot to learn about each other and just life itself. And I’m glad that I can spend this time to learn it with you. And so what, if we’re immature, isn’t that how puppy love is? Not really caring about being the “mature” one but being fun and alive and young! We’re both naive about things but I’m glad we’re so fortunate to know what that is.
Babe, you know everything about me. We are so comfortable with each other and we can make each other laugh all the time. We can make each other mad all the time, but we can make each other smile a second later. I love it when we get mad at each other because you think I’m cute when I’m mad and I think you’re so sexy when you’re mad… so then there goes our fight! Right out the door because we’re too busy adoring the cuteness in each other. I know there are times I say hurtful things, and I say things that I shouldn’t but I’m trying to work on it. Day 1 - Dear Best Friend,
I love the fact that you understand me. I love the fact that you are always there.. every single time. I love the fact that you know about me, and I know about you. I love that we just understand. I love the fact that your family treats me like their own, as so does mine to you. I love that we can tell each other anything in the world, and I know that there is not even a thought of judgment in our minds. I love having the peace of mind I feel knowing that there is at least one person in this world that knows all my deepest and darkest secrets, as well as my silliest and most embarrassing ones.
You know what I love, is that we talk every single day without getting tired of each other and being excited when each other call. I love that we’re the type that never have to worry about financial difference because we don’t ever keep tabs on who “paid last time.” We never split it in half because we just eat and eat as much as we please because we are THAT comfortable with each other. I love that we have the same cultural background with the same crazy asian parents. I love that we both have a story that only the other truly know. I love that when the other isn’t there, we will never ever allow one bad thing said about each other, unless it’s for snooping. (:O I love that we have the same taste in music, sing all the same songs, and watch all the same movies. And even though we don’t want to, we listen to each other when we talk. We actually listen and realize this isn’t about ourself, its about the other.
I love that we will always have weekly dates and have more laughs than words. I love being able to say who my best friend is, confidently knowing that you will say the same about me. I love knowing that though our friends will change, we never will. That we will be each other’s maid of honor at each other’s wedding. I love that we can have the silliest times together, but we can always sit and have an intelligent conversation. I love that we can learn so much from each other and enjoy each other’s company.
I love that you inspire me. I love that I inspire you. I love that together, when people see us, they see the perfect best friendship. I love that we are so lucky to have each other. Honestly, I love everything about our relationship. I love knowing that I can call you and never feel like a burden. I love being able to not say one word, and you understand me. I just hate… that I haven’t met you yet. Yeah, I have really close friends and my fave5ive, the ones I call my best friends, but they all possess qualities that I just want to roll into ONE best friend. Beautiful, intelligent, independent, confident, deterministic, genuine, sincere, friendly, reliable, loyal and understanding.
