"I’ve always been a girl for perfection. A girl that wanted things to happen a certain way. I realized, that there are just things out of my control. Things that no matter what I could have done, the inevitable will occur. And I’m starting to be grateful for that. I realized that the more imperfect things there are in my life, the more perfect other parts of my life seem to be. My friends & family. The stars only twinkle at night, when they are surrounded by the black sky. But they’re still there during the day, yet they don’t shine as brightly. Is it only when darkness is evident, that the stars of our life shine brightly? Cause if that’s the case, I’m ready to take on any challenges and dark times I’m going to have, if that’s what it takes to truly appreciate and love my stars.
